Supporting Innovative Learning
The Collingswood Education Fund provides grants to support impactful educational opportunities for students across Collingswood Public Schools. Our grantmaking process is designed to be transparent, equitable, and educator-driven.
How It Works
A simple, educator-friendly process.
We've designed our grant process to be as straightforward as possible, so educators can spend less time on paperwork and more time on their students.
Submit
Educators fill out our online application describing their project idea, goals, and budget.
Review
The CEF Grants Committee evaluates proposals for impact, feasibility, and alignment with our mission.
Award
Selected educators are notified and funds are transferred.
Report Back
Grant recipients share how the project went — photos, outcomes, and student reflections are celebrated by the community.

2026–2027 Grant Cycle
Applications Open
The grant application portal opens. Educators are encouraged to begin developing their project ideas.
Applications Close
All grant proposals must be submitted by October 1 for consideration in the current cycle.
Application Review Period
The CEF Grants Committee carefully reviews each submission, evaluating for student impact, feasibility, and alignment with our mission.
Finalist Review
Finalists are identified and submissions are reviewed by the full CEF Grant Review Committee.
Applicant Notification
The committee notifies applicants whether their application has been approved or declined.
Board of Education Acceptance
Grant awards are presented to the Board of Education for acceptance.
Distribution of Grant Awards
Funds are distributed to awardees through the school district process.

Applications are accepted from staff of:
- Collingswood High School
- Collingswood Middle School
- William P. Tatem Elementary School
- Zane North Elementary School
- Thomas Sharp Elementary School
- Mark Newbie Elementary School
- Collingswood Public Schools PK Program

Supports that help students thrive socially and emotionally.
Afterschool & Enrichment
Clubs, enrichment activities, and staff stipends for after-hours programs.
World Language & Innovation
World language projects and innovative instructional tools and software.
Sports & Extracurricular Activities
Equipment, uniforms, and funding for athletic programs and student clubs that build teamwork and school pride.
